I was inspired by the beautiful volcanic lake Myvatn, in Northern Iceland for this piece. I love the depth and sumptuous richness of the several layers of resin, mica & lava chips and pigments with various shades of deep rich greens & blacks, reminiscent of the area and lake. The lava effect 'islands' are layers of plaster and painted black with holographic black glitters and edged with gold. I have poured the layers of resin onto a large 60cm circular board. Ready to hang.

All of my art is original & hand made using multi media and various textures. Sometimes there may appear to be some minor imperfections, this can be due to some of the various processes and is quite normal with original art. However, this should not take away from the beauty and enjoyment you will get from my art. Please also allow for a possible slight variation of colours due to individual computer monitors. :-)
